Village and Community Halls Adviser

We are looking to recruit a Village and Community Halls Adviser to help ensure good governance of community-owned buildings (particularly, but not exclusively, village and community halls) across Kent and Medway.

This post is for 22 hours per week.  The hours worked can be flexible and spread over the week in agreement with the CEO.  Within this role you will be expected to ideally have an understanding of the legal and legislative requirements for community hall trustees. You must be able to travel across Kent, including for occasional evening meetings and often to rural communities where public transport is limited.  Travel expenses are paid and we operate a time off in lieu system so hours worked can be flexible.

For more information contact us on 01303-813790 or by email to info@ruralkent.org.uk. Closing date for application is Tuesday 9th March 2021. Interviews will take place on Thursday 18th March 2021.
